Examples of topics addressed were increasing plant availability, increasing the economic efficiency of production, ways of predicting downtimes, as well as the fast and expert repair of complex assemblies and the provision of spare parts for the earliest possible resumption of production. In addition, new developments of related equipment were presented.

A special highlight was the tour through the workshop, which once again proved the range of competences we bundle under one roof.  "I knew that the SMS group can do engineering and construction, but now I also know that it can do production.", said Lutz Kaufmann, Plant Manager Hot/Cold Rolling Mill of Speira GmbH.

Due to the positive response and in order to cover our large SMS group product portfolio, the Service Europe team is planning to organize similar events at regular intervals in the future and thus address more and more customers in a targeted manner.
