Strong international network
A prime example of our capabilities is the successful installation and commissioning of two submerged arc furnaces (SAF) at PMB Silicon in Malaysia. The project included the complete power distribution system, designed to accommodate future expansions. Our international network facilitated the sourcing of components, with contributions from teams in Germany, India, and China. The project met stringent local power quality requirements and reactive power management, showcasing our ability to deliver technologically sophisticated solutions.
The PMB Silicon project highlights our role as a system integrator, utilizing CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) tools for grid calculations. The integration of high and medium-voltage switchgear as well as step-down transformers, static VAR compensators, and control systems underscores our comprehensive approach to system integration. The use of the IEC61850 protocol ensures manufacturer-independent communication between power distribution and process automation systems, following the SMS process automation style-guide for a consistent look and feel.
