CasterXpert visualizes quality-critical components of a caster in a vivid 3D model. The digital solution, designed as a modular system, enables Maintenance -, Production- and Quality departments to easily monitor quality and production parameters. That way, CasterXpert quickly locates faults and carries out analyses as well as simulations to optimize operations.
An important aspect in the casting process is the product quality. This is determined by various casting parameters. One of those is the condition and positioning of the strand guide segments. The Roll Gap Checker measures the alignment of strand guides in continuous casting lines, allowing for the visualization and evaluation of segment and roll misalignments.
CasterXpert is suitable for new and existing plants and can be set up in a very short time. The modular Software as a Service (SaaS) solution provides full flexibility for the operator’s individual requirements and thereby makes complex interrelationships easier and safer to control, early troubleshooting can be carried out before quality defects occur.
