SMS group can draw on more than 150 years of experience in ring and wheel rolling. This goes back to the Keller & Banning Maschinenfabrik und Eisengießerei (machine works and iron foundry) and to the Wagner Maschinenfabrik. Both of these pioneering firms were founded in the second half of the nineteenth century and were later acquired by SMS group.  Today, SMS group’s ring-and wheel rolling activities stand for innovative technology, precision, and top quality.
