The aim of the cooperation is to ensure the long-term product quality, productivity and production reliability of the equipment supplied by SMS.
"We provide support to Halcor with our services throughout the entire lifecycle of the plant and can flexibly assist according to customer's requirements." says Nils Korell, Head of Service for Extrusion Presses at SMS group.
With its many years of service experience, SMS is the right lifecycle collaborator to ensure the performance of our plant.
Over the next five years, SMS will now carry out regular alignment checks and hydraulic- and control-optimizations on the press. In addition, the plant will be inspected at intervals to document changes due to wear and to plan maintenance measures at an early stage. "The cooperation was once again demonstrated during the recent rebuild to our linear guidance system, and we are very much looking forward to continuing the work with our colleagues from Halcor." says Michael Grecksch, Project Manager Modernization for Extrusion Presses at SMS.
Thanasis Blatsiotis, Maintenance Senior Manager at Halcor, adds: "With its many years of service experience, SMS is the right lifecycle collaborator to ensure the performance of our plant."
