Method
This is how the JCO method works. First, the previously edge-milled and crimped plate is gradually formed into an open-seam pipe. To do this, a manipulator guides the plate to the forming tool, which forms an open-seam tube in stages along the entire length. This creates parallel longitudinal edges ideal for subsequent pipe welding. The process forms wall thicknesses of up to 45 mm, lengths of up to 18.3 m and handles steel grades of up to X120.
